Small Groups, Bible Studies and Book Studies

Small Groups

Three small groups are currently in existence. They are sermon-based small groups, meaning that they will take the sermon from each week and discuss it in groups of 10-15. Small groups meet weekly, contact the or call 503-364-6709 to connect with one of these groups.

United Methodist Women is a community of women who study to grow in their faith and give of themselves through missions. The whole body meets four times a year, with several smaller circles meeting monthly or bi-weekly.

  • Mia Adjali Circle meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at a member's home. For more information, contact the church office via or phone at 503-364-6709.
  • Erbele Circle meets the 2nd Monday of the month at the church (600 State St, Salem, Oregon) from noon-2pm.
  • Mary Martha Prayer Circle meets the third Friday of the month at the church (600 State St, Salem, Oregon) from 7-9pm.
  • Susannah Wesley circle is a mom's group that meets every other Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 at the church. (600 State St, Salem, Oregon) Contact the church office via or phone at 503-364-6709 for more information.
  • Bible Study meets every Friday morning from 10-11:30 at the church. (600 State St, Salem, Oregon)

Bible Studies

Women's Bible Study meets every Friday morning from 10-11:30 at the church.

Discipleship I is a 34 week intensive Bible study for those interested in learning more about this amazing book. It is being offered at two different times this year, Tuesday evenings (this class is now full) and Thursday mornings from 10:00-12:30pm. Book Studies

Wednesday With Friends Dinner begins at 5:15, followed at 6:00 with various musical activities and/or spiritual formation events concerned with changing lives, transforming the community and renewing the church. There will be something for everyone, so bring the whole family.

Living the Questions is a progressive alternative for Christian invitation, initiation and spiritual formation. The class is a 12-week small group study beginning September 18th from 3:30-5:30pm. Contact the church office via or phone at 503-364-6709 for more information. Childcare will be available.
